Concert Series to feature Chamber Orchestra

WATKINS GLEN, June 12 -- The Schuyler County Concert Series, sponsored by the Episcopal Parishes of Schuyler County, will hold its second concert of the season at Saint James’ Episcopal Church, Sixth and Decatur Streets in Watkins Glen on Friday, June 21.

The concert, at 7.30 p.m., will feature members of the Manhattan Chamber Orchestra under the direction of Richard Auldon Clark. Mr. Clark is the founder of the Orchestra and is a Professor of Music at Butler University.

Featured in this concert will be flutist Christine Moulton, Assistant Professor Music at Mansfield University. The program will include Beethoven’s Serenade in D, a Mozart quartet and a Schubert trio.

The series is made possible, in part, with public funds from the New York State Council on the Arts’ Decentralization Program (www.NYSCA.org), administered locally by the The ARTS Council of the Southern Finger Lakes (www.eARTS.org).

Tickets are $15 for adults, and $12 for seniors. Students and children are welcome without charge.
